AUG 3rd, 2010 - THE AYOSO'S FAREWELL LETTER TO KATIE:
Dear Katiebug, We love you and miss you! You are such an inspiration to us... we knew there was something extra special about you from the moment we met you! You have touched our lives deeply and we are better people because of knowing you and seeing the love your family has for you through their words and actions.
Your contagious smile will be greatly missed, as will the way your face lights up when you smile! We will always remember your love for music (and crying babies and loud noises and bumpy rides!!), and especially how you knew your family, their voices, their touch and responded with smiles galore and happy noises!
Although we miss you more than any words can explain, we take comfort knowing with out a doubt where your sweet spirit is now and that you are pain-free and the big one... able to move without assistance! We will look out for your family here on Earth and continue to be here for them in any way they need us and create many more memories together. We look forward to the day you are reunited as a family and you can hear all about what they have been up to! We love and miss you so, so, so very much!

P.S. Caysen loved seeing your picture that your primary teacher showed your class on Sunday! And Cade... well, he said your name for the first time 9 days ago, after he saw you all the way across the chapel asleep on Mom's lap. He wanted to go over and hug you right in the middle of sacrament meeting! One day we'll all hug again!

Katie was born on November 22, 2003 in Mesa, Arizona. She has 3 beautiful sisters, Emily (10), Maddie (8), Ellie (3), and Mom and Dad - Jennifer and Randy. Katie passed away on July 31, 2010 in Auburn, Washington.

We (Jamee and Christina) are friends of the Ekins' Family. We created this blog as a central place to celebrate sweet Katiebug's life and to help each of us feel a part of a great group of people who love and miss her. Katie's Fund
